Hanken Member of the Pan-European Seal

Hanken School of Economics has in February 2015 become a member of the Pan-European Seal Opens in new window – a cooperation between the Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) Opens in new window , the European patent Office (EPO) Opens in new window and eleven European university partners.

The membership means that Hanken can provide its students in the Master’s Programme Intellectual Property Law an online intellectual property training programme as well as possibility to shortlist for a paid traineeship at OHIM or EPO.

”This means a lot for the IPL Programme at Hanken as we are the first Finnish, as well as the first Nordic, university to join the Pan-European Seal Programme” says Nari Lee, Professor in Intellectual Property Law at the Department of Accounting and Commercial Law at Hanken.

The Pan-European Seal is an IP Programme that covers many academic areas. Through it, high-achieving young university graduates can access paid traineeships, helping them get a foot in the door of the competitive world of IP through valuable on-the-job multicultural professional work experience.
